Quarantine Thinking

Two significant moments in a person’s life; the day they are born and the day they graduate.

Those who were supposed to wear a cap and gown to graduate this year were born during 9/11.

They were born in the middle of a national tragedy, and now their graduation is disrupted because of a global crisis.

I heard about a village that had a severe drought going on with months and months of no rain. They decided to all gather on a designated day for a corporate prayer meeting to ask for God to send rain. On the day of the prayer meeting, only one little boy came walking up with an umbrella. THAT is faith!

What evidence have you modeled that you really believe God? You don’t have to believe God when life is going great. But what about when you’re suddenly laid off from work? Cancer comes? Your response reveals your thinking-level.

When life is up and down, can you still laugh and enjoy life? When someone else’s life is up and down, who are YOU positioned to help or catch?

Have you checked on the oldest member of your family?

Have you checked on the person who wrestles with co-dependency?

Have you checked on your friend who is in an abusive relationship and now she can’t go anywhere?

Have you checked on the poorest person you know?

Time is a gift. The reason it’s a gift is because we call it the “present.”

None of us have a promise that tomorrow will come.  If we are in quarantine for thirty, ninety or more days, how will you emerge better? Stronger? More faith-filled? How will your thought-process have changed about your purpose? Your life? Your heart? Are you starting to realize what IS important and what IS NOT?

Can you give yourself a quarantine from negative thinking?

FEAR- False. Evidence. Appearing. Real.

Philippians 4:8

“Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things arelovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.”

POINT-When you “think” correctly about God’s goodness to your life, you have got to “thank” Him. Your life is a direct result of your thinking.

Life is messy and beautiful.  Think right and life will follow.
